And then there were two. The Warriors have just come off a miraculous comeback from a 3-1 deficit against the Thunder. To be honest if it hadn’t been for Klay Thompson's heroics they wouldn’t even be here. The Cavs on the other hand have coasted through the playoffs being mildly tested by the Pistons, Hawks and Raptors. Lebron has transformed his Cavs team into a three point shooting arsenal with his play-making ability on offense. Cleveland steps into this series playing their most efficient basketball in the big 3 Era. It will be interesting to see what approach Ty Lue takes in this series, they haven’t faced an offensive juggernaut in the warriors. will they continue with their own three point attack? Or will they try to lock in defensively and disrupt the splash brothers?
There are three different dynamics that will determine the outcome of this series. The first one is the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love factor; these two being out last year was the clear excuse for why Cleveland could not keep up with the Dubs. This time around they will be ready; I expect a coming out party for Kyrie Irving on this grand stage. He will push Steph to the limits defensively and attack the basket efficiently. Kyrie will play big and average around 24 points this series. He has the mamba’s mentality; it will be on full display tonight. Kevin Love is truly the x factor; in order for Cleveland to win, they will have to place him in the right positions to score. I expect him to play big and take the open shots he’s given. Capitalizing on opportunities will be the key for him this series.

Defense is the next factor in these finals. The Cavs will have to defend the 3 pt line to win this series. Lebron and JR smith will have to step their perimeter defense up on another level. I expect Klay and Steph to continue their phenomenal shooting from beyond the arc, therefore Cleveland will have to lock in defensively in order to limit some of those attempts. The Cavs may not have the same physical bodies as the Thunder but they can still impose their will. On the other hand I expect the warriors to have a better offensive series; Draymond and Harrison will both play better. Both teams are evenly matched offensively with more than enough weapons to put up points, but the team that scraps and defends will win the series.
The final determining factor is the star studded match-up between Lebron and Steph. Who’s the real MVP? Lebron so eloquently stated that Steph was not the most valuable player in the league after winning his 2nd MVP. Now all bets are on, we are going to see which star can will his team to victory. Lebron can do it through sheer play-making and controlling the pace of the overall game. Curry can do it through pure shot making beyond the arc as well as passing once he is run off the three point line. This is Bron's time however, his presence and control over the game will be too much for the Dubs to handle. He will set his teammates up when needed and score in the low post and perimeter when he has to. Ultimately, I believe this series will be a defining moment for Lebron's career if he can take down the 73-9 warriors and claim the title for the LAND for the first time in 50 years. This victory will be his career defining moment and the King will finally deliver Cleveland its long awaited title.
