Today I wanted to share something that speaks to the madness going on right now 🦠. Willow Smith and Tyler Cole came together for a 24 hour live experience of The Anxiety, partly in which she has her head shaved. I wonder how many people were there or if anyone stayed to the end of the show 🤔.

Will Smith & Tyler Cole Trap Themselves in A Box In The Spirit of Their New Project "The Anxiety"

The timing and execution of this project sparked the interest for me. 30 years from now The Anxiety will speak directly to the year 2020 and what was going on. How accurate it is? Well, that's your opinion. At least that's how I'll remember 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣. I haven't seen the act be described as the pair being "quarantined" yet, depending on how far the future that may change (not to get too deep). The lengths to promote a project or push something they believe in is to be admired 💯.

Coldplay: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert

I was almost hot at the all black choir ......until I heard the ensemble let off "Viva La Vida" 🔥. I'm not sure why we have that initial territorial thought/feelings towards anything being taken from us and used for others good, as if there's an amount of scarcity that says there's not enough for all of us to eat 🍽. I guess it just means the formula works 🤷🏽‍♂️. Don't take it into offense Chris, I felt the same way towards SVP. The 1999 cover was crazy. Job well done guys....

Roc Nation Enters Into Long-Term Partnership With NFL

"Life is but a dream to me, I don't wanna wake up 30 odd years been 'bout havin' my cake up So I'm 'bout my paper, 24/7, 365, 366 in a leap year"
Beach Chair - Jay-Z featuring Chris Martin of Coldplay

The above lyric jus happened to fall perfect with my piece today (A.T.P.I.T.A 🙌🏽). Radio personalities from major cities and networks were in the room, including Angie Martinez, Charlamagne, among others gathered to hear Shawn Carter and Roger Goddell speak on the newest partnership between the NFL and Roc Nation.

Below are a few quick pointers that stood out to me and the time mark in which they happen.

6 minutes - Why he chose to work with them after he turned down the Super Bowl.

Question from Charlemagne.

20 min - Not just performing there and leaving.

Working with the organizers, people on the ground in those cities where the Super Bowl is hosted.

26 min - Kneeling being a form of protest ✊🏽.

30 min - You can’t police people you’re afraid of 🚓👀.

38 min - You can’t just cancel someone like its twitter 🙅🏽‍♂️.

40 min - Relationship between organizations, the artists, and the players 🤝.

My Take?

It's wild none of the media had mics, I still want to know where S. Carter purchased his Heavy shirt from, both parties wanted to control the conversation. Moreover I think that it's a great intention and a great initiative if executed fully. I believe in Shawn Carter's leadership as a partner, and the NFL has a huge audience. My big picture take is that this relationship will inspire lovers of the game to collaborate with big systems (i.e NFL, NBA, Aftermath Records, City of Dayton) 🗣. Raising awareness, hosting a concert, creating a co-working space, or opening an all purpose gym in the neighborhood of the respective city where the Superbowl is hosted would be huge, especially considering some of those cities are heavily populated by us.

Hope your March is going well. Take this time to catch up on cleaning around the house, finish a project, and love on someone 💪🏾.
